The design of Ford’s latest version of the 1.0L EcoBoost petrol engine has changed significantly from the original EcoBoost; gone is the oil wetted cambelt drive, as the latest design is chain driven which means that the engine timing tools have also changed.
Ford applications include: C-Max (from 2017), Fiesta (from 2017), Focus (from 2018), Puma (from 2019) & Transit Connect (from 2017).
Applications: engine codes B3DA & B7DA.
Kit includes VVT locking tools equivalent to OEM 303-1661, 303-1661/1 and 303-1661/2 and 303-1661/3, VVT camshaft sprocket socket.
For removal and replacement of the crankshaft pulley.
