Grey Buffing Stone. Tyre Buffing stones, Grinding stones and flap wheels are all used in the preparation of tyres and inner tube surfaces. Used to roughen up an area of rubber prior to final cleaning and preparation.

This is the ‘Grey Stone’ type which is a finer surface stone good for more controlled surface removal and smoother finishing.
