One of our strongest lines in our MOT Products range. Our MOT Tools are very popular amongst MOT Testing Stations across the UK. Many of our products are either vosa approved or meet vosa's specifications. Our MOT Tools are great quality and competitvely priced. We print and manufacture our own MOT Signs, MOT Shadow Tools Boards to remain as competitive as possible.

Ancillary Pack

Our MOT Ancillary packs are simply all the tools and ancillaries needed to run an mot bay. They include products like MOT Signs, Mot Tools Boards and Tools, MOT Notice Board, Brake Decelerometer plus much more. All our equipment and tools are either VOSA Approved or Meet the VOSA Specifications for MOT use.

Brake Meters

Our G Meters are designed for use as a back up in case your main brake tester was to fail. This would still allow you to test in emergencies. The G Meters are all VOSA Approved for use in MOT. We offer basic units as well as units that will do more than 1 test and can print out the results. We also do brake safe which is specifically for use with HGV Commerical Vehicles.

Day Safes

Whilst no longer mandatory many MOT Stations still have a day safe to keep important things hidden and locked away. Such as a temporary embossing stamp, cash etc.

Detection Sprays

Our gas leak detection spray used already in the plumbing industry for checking gas leaks is also suitable for checking leaks on LPG cars and vehicles. Our Gas meets the VOSA Approval and BS EN 4291:2004 Specifications

Handlamps

Adequate lighting is required for doing the MOT Tests. We can offer all types of handlamps with standard bulbs right through to high powered LED lamps in 12v. We can also offer lamps that run from transformers.

Markers

We offer yellow and white wax markers ideal for the workshop, mot bay and tyre fitting bays. They are normally used for marking on rubber, steel & glass. Ideal for marking wear & damage on vehicle tyres.

Measurements

Measuring tyre tread depth and width is all part of VOSA's MOT Test. We have the tools to make the job easy. For measuring the central 3/4 of tyre tread quickly we have our special tread kit. We also offer the windscreen damage template to check for pass or fail of the car windscreen.

Motorcycle Scales

Salter are renowned for making quality weighing scales and have done for decades. We are the sole supplier to the automotive market of the 300kg Motor Cycle Weighing Scales. Quickly identify the weight of the motorbike so you can enter it in to the Vosa Computer. Comes with a set of ramps.

Pedal Depressors

Brake pedal depressors and speed setters designed for use in the MOT. We manufacture our own quality brake pedal depressor which is vosa approved.

Shadow Board & Tools

Keeping all your mot tools as required by vosa in 1 place to easily identify if any have gone missing is vital in making sure you operate an efficient mot bay. It could also save you points if VOSA fine you for not having the correct tools. Shadow boards can also be customised with distributors or motor factors names on them.

Wheel Chocks

Rubber and Metal Wheel Chocks suitable for many applications but in particular for the MOT Test. We offer small ones for class 4, right up to class 5 heavy duty chocks for HGV Commerical vehicles.

Wheel Alignment Bars

Motorcycle wheel alignment bars for motorbikes. For use in the MOT Test on motorcycles just place a bar either side of the rear wheel of the bike and then pass the 10mm stud and handle through the blank bar and through the rear wheel between the spokes of the bike enables you to measure the gap between the bars and the front tyre walls is the same both sides you can then be sure the wheels are in line.
